Rural City of Wangaratta celebrates 40 years of the Victorian Seniors

Rural City of Wangaratta, in collaboration with the Victorian State Government, is pleased to launch the Wangaratta Seniors Festival 2022.

The festival program features 48 free or low-cost events taking place between 7 and 23 October 2022 across the municipality.

Rural City of Wangaratta hosts Centennial Commemorative High Tea

Seniors 95 years and over across the Rural City of Wangaratta have received personal invitations from Council inviting them to a commemorative high tea in their honour.

Rural City of Wangaratta is celebrating those who have contributed so much to our community at a special function to be held at the Gateway Hotel on Wednesday 5 October 2022.

Tourism Events Grants Open

Calling all community groups, tourism operators and festival organisers, Council's Tourism Event Grants Program has opened!

This $20,000 program offers grants of up to $2000 for minor events and up to $5000 for major events.
