Transfer Stations

We run four Transfer Stations so our community can dispose of items and waste that are not accepted in kerbside bins. This includes e-waste, batteries, green waste, glass drop off, timber, concrete, rubble, metal and soft plastics

Kerbside Collection

Report or Request - Waste

Click through to report: stolen or damaged bin, missed bin collection, public littering or dumping and a public bin issue. Also request a new bin or cancellation of a service.

Resource Recovery and Waste Education

Rural City of Wangaratta Council offer a variety of education services and experiences to help our community to understand the waste and recycling.
Council’s Waste Education Officer can visit your school or community group and give a presentation or facilitate a site tour of the Wangaratta Organic’s facility.

Bowser Landfill

Bowser landfill located at 5 Coleman Rd, North Wangaratta accepts both domestic and commercial quantities of asbestos. Find out about charges and how to apply for waste disposal services.
