Closure of Rowan Street Pedestrian Underpass Ramp

• Completion Date13 March 2025

Drainage repair works will take place in the vicinity of the Rowan Street Pedestrian Underpass (Rowan Street Service Roadside) on 12^th & 13^th March. The existing pedestrian bridge ramp will need to be removed to undertake these improvement works.

Public access will not be available during the period of works on either of the two pedestrian/cyclist bridges over Rowan Street Underpass. The pedestrian bridge on the west side will reopen after the works are complete however the bridge on the city side will not reopen until the ramp is reinstated in the weeks following. During the period of works Pedestrians and cyclists will need to use alternative routes such as the underpass pedestrian access in Templeton Street or the Pedestrian Bridge over Rail Lines accessible from Gray Street or Norton Street.

Vehicles will not be permitted to access the Service Road beside 51 Mackay Street on the 12^th & 13^th March whilst works are being undertaken.
