If you are selling a property, you will need a Land Information Certificates (LIC). This Certificate provides information regarding:
- the property value
- the amount of rates charged
- outstanding rates, charges and other moneys owing including interest due
Anyone can apply for a LIC although it is usually your solicitor or conveyancer who does it for you. The certificate is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
