Appeal your animal infringement

If you believe your infringement should be withdrawn, you can appeal it.

We will do an internal review of the infringement and advise you of the outcome. You can only do one review for each infringement notice.

Appealing before a magistrate

You also have the option to dispute your infringement before a magistrate. Please let us know if you would like to do this.

You will receive a summons advising the date, time and place of your hearing. If your appeal is successful, the fine will be dropped. However, if you are unsuccessful, you will be liable for the fine plus additional court and Council costs.
