What is place making?
Place making is about creating fun and imaginative public spaces, events and gatherings that are loved by locals.
Place making is about thinking outside the box to make your community smile:
Do you have a drab wall that needs a mural or a vertical garden?
Does the entrance into your sporting ground need sprucing up?
Would you just love to have a teddy bear picnic, or a clothes swap day and BBQ within your community?
Winning pitches will be decided by community voting, with prize money awarded to enable them to come to life as real places within the community!
