Sustainable King Valley

Sustainable King Valley (SKV) runs the Food Hub from Cheshunt Hall, offering quality, affordable, waste free, bulk whole foods & great social connection. Excess produce share and clothing swap is part of each Food Hub opening. Currently, the Food Hub is open 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 10.30 - 12.30. SKV is looking at increasing this to make it more available to more people.

SKV offers workshops such as nature walks, mushroom foraging, pasta making, upcycling fabric, preserving.

Autumn Harvest is held annually in March, providing inspiration to preserve, reduce plastics, find out about pest management, waste management, plant propagation workshop, and more. This is held in partnership with Rural City of Wangaratta council's sustainability team.

We are always looking for volunteers, please get in touch if you are interested.

Costs:

People can choose to pay a membership fee for the Food Hub, which give 20% off the price of produce.
