Wangaratta Seniors Festival Launch

In collaboration with the Victorian State Government, the Rural City of Wangaratta are pleased to launch the Wangaratta Seniors Festival. This year the program runs over the entire month of October and includes over 100 diverse, free, and affordable events and activities. The program is designed to enhance the lives of community members aged 60 and above.

Devised in partnership with local businesses and community organisations, the program is designed to foster community spirit, promote social connections, and enhance the well-being of seniors. Many of this year’s events focus on maintaining an active lifestyle to support good health. You can also learn a new skill at hands-on woodwork and craft sessions. Inclusive opportunities for participation and enjoyment like online chair cardio classes, are also on offer.

This year's theme, Explore. Engage. Evolve., encourages seniors to embrace curiosity and connections by discovering new interests, meeting fellow community members, and rethinking what it means to age gracefully.
