Twilight Christmas Shopping in Wangaratta
Published on 13 December 2022
Local businesses have come together to present Wangaratta’s Twilight Shopping Night this Thursday 15 December from 5pm.
Initiated by Beth Garraffo of Sorella Store, there are now over 40 businesses across Wangaratta participating in the event.
Rural City of Wangaratta is pleased to support the initiative to encourage people to shop locally this Christmas.
“The Twilight Shopping Night is a terrific concept which really gives everyone a chance to do their Christmas shopping locally and enjoy connecting with shop owners and friends,” said Rural City of Wangaratta Mayor, Cr Dean Rees.
“I have to acknowledge the work done by Beth Garraffo in planning this event and getting so many small, locally owned businesses on board. It’s a credit to the entire business community for supporting the concept and joining the Twilight Shopping Night to create a great retail experience in our town.”
“Enjoy Thursday night, keep our local businesses strong and shop local this Christmas!” said Cr Rees.
To enhance the Twilight Shopping Night experience there will also be live entertainment on the night with musician Tayla Shae performing in Reid and Murphy Streets.
Rural City of Wangaratta is proud to support the Wangaratta Twilight Shopping Night and thanks local businesses for the quality products and services provided to our community.
