The Push All-Ages Tour is heading to Wangaratta’s Vine Hotel later this month, bringing along an incredible lineup of performers. Rural City of Wangaratta’s Youth Team successfully submitted an expression-of-interest to be one of the four tour host’s earlier this year, with the aim to attract more live music for young people to our community.

“The strong interest in hosting this event comes after the huge success of our previous collaboration with The Push in February 2022, which featured The Chats as headliners. The sell-out show drew a great crowd and the incredible vibe from the audience made the night unforgettable. The Push team was impressed with the Vine Hotel as a venue and their willingness to secure a special event license to make the show accessible to all ages.” Said Rachel Harrop, Youth Resilience Coordinator.

Headlining this year are Pacific Avenue, and Teenage Joans. Joining them are Samara Bright who hails from Beechworth and won the North East’s Battle of the Bands in January this year. They will be supported by local high school student and triple j’s Unearthed winner Anthony Chisholm. The tour will also visit Bendigo, Geelong, and Horsham, filling a vital gap for youth in regional areas by bringing live music and unforgettable performances to these communities.

The Push team has also been providing event training to Wangaratta's FReeZA crew as part of the All Ages Tour. The first session took place in person at The Vine, followed by online meetings. The crew has gained hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning, from stage plots and backline to managing riders.

“This opportunity offers young people invaluable skills and insight from professionals who regularly produce major shows in Melbourne and across Victoria.” Said Rachel Harrop, Youth Resilience Coordinator.
