The Grit and Resilience Consortium proudly unveils its Blueprint, a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing connection and inclusion efforts across the Wangaratta community. This Blueprint is a testament to the dedication and collaboration of community members and stakeholders, designed to foster a stronger, more inclusive community.

The Grit and Resilience Consortium has been working hard behind the scenes to identify what initiatives and actions from the program will most effectively support connection and inclusion across Wangaratta.

The Consortium is excited to be releasing their plan to the Wangaratta Community and hopes that the initiatives outlined will excite the community and encourage increased individual and collective connection efforts.

Tegan Allen, Co-chair of the Consortium, expressed her enthusiasm: “We are thrilled to present this Blueprint. It is truly a community-designed plan that reflects the Grit and Resilience Consortium's deep knowledge and passion for ensuring our community can design what is beneficial for us all.”

The Consortium calls on the community to get involved in the activities outlined within the Blueprint and stay tuned for upcoming events such as “No Lights, No Lycra” in partnership with the Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre, and Phase Two of “Old School Night Out.

The Grit and Resilience Program is funded by the Victorian Government’s Social Inclusion Action Group (SIAG), an initiative recommended by the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. This program has evolved from a previous initiative funded by the Primary Health Network, now with a stronger focus on enhancing social inclusion and community connections.
