Seniors Festival Country Concert

The Seniors Festival is in full-swing across the Rural City of Wangaratta. There have been a range of events, activities and concerts, and the involvement of the community in these has exceeded expectations. 

One of the highlights of the Festival is the Country Concert being held this Friday 21 October 2022 at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre. 

The star of the Country Concert is renowned Australian country singer James Blundell, who will be joined on stage with his equally talented son Briar Blundell. 

While the theme of this year’s Victorian Seniors Festival, “Takin’ it Easy”, is an acknowledgement of our busy lifestyles, and a timely reminder to take a breath and reflect on a lifetime of experience and accomplishments – this concert is sure to be toe tapping entertainment! 

“It’s been terrific to be offer a range of events across the Seniors Festival program,” said Rural City of Wangaratta Mayor Cr Dean Rees. 

“These events have brought people together which is great for wellbeing, and it strengthens our communities.” 

“The Country Concert will be an opportunity for seniors to let their hair down and enjoy the fabulous James Blundell right here in Wangaratta!” said Cr Rees.
