The countdown for New Year’s Eve is on, and the Rural City of Wangaratta have a whole list of reasons to gather your friends and family and head to the Wangaratta Showgrounds on Sunday 31 December. This night of music, entertainment, and family fun promises to be the most spectacular New Year's Eve celebration in North East Victoria.

You will be welcomed by the familiar sounds of Scott & Amanda, followed by the mesmerising vocal and song writing talent of Asha Bright. Brace yourselves for an unforgettable night of dancing as the funky soul sounds of That Gold Street Sound take over the stage. And if that wasn't enough, we're honoured to have the legendary Chocolate Starfish joining us to help ring in the New Year before they embark on their The Best of Everything Tour.

There will be two spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the night sky at 9:00 pm and midnight. But that's not all – there's something for everyone in the family, including inflatables, laser tag, rock climbing, face painting, photobooth, and hair braiding. And for the food enthusiasts, a diverse range of delicious options will be available for purchase from our carefully curated selection of vendors, there will be something to suit everyone’s tastes.
