The Rural City of Wangaratta’s Waste Management Team are celebrating National Recycling Week, (13 - 19 November) by offering two fun and educational events. Environmental organisation, Planet Ark, instigated National Recycling Week 27 years ago. This annual event is dedicated to educating and empowering individuals to make a positive impact on the environment.

The Rural City of Wangaratta’s programs during this week are aimed to inspire individuals to make conscious choices when buying and disposing of items and materials, making them active contributors to a more sustainable future.
