Celebrate Children’s Week

Children’s Week is almost here! Children’s Week celebrates the talents, skills, achievements, and rights of our children and it all kicks off nationally from Saturday 22 October 2022. 

This year’s theme is that children have the right to a standard of living that supports their wellbeing and healthy development – so let’s get behind this statement from the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, support it, and celebrate! 

Please join us on Wednesday 26 October 2022 from 10am - 12pm at Lions Park on Batchelor’s Green next to the Child Services Centre for a free event for children and their families.  

The event will engage the senses, inspire imagination, and encourage creativity. 

There will be a range of stalls all hosting activities and a jumping castle for fun, as well as food and drink vendors available on site.
