Aerodrome Terminal Building Lease Notification

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEASE TERMINAL BUILDING

The Rural City of Wangaratta (Council) gives notice under section 115 of the Local Government Act 202 (the Act) of its intention to lease the 'Terminal Building' at the Wangaratta Aerodrome, 72 Brian Higgins Drive, Laceby.

Council gives notice that it proposes to enter into a lease agreement for a period of 10 years or more.

Expression of Interest: Wareena Park (former Bowls Club building)

Council is formally seeking Expressions of Interest from community groups to enter into an agreement to occupy/use the former Bowls Club building. The agreement will be for short term occupation/usage for 12 – 18 months with possibility of an extension.

The building has previously been used as bowls club.

Promoting Skin Health for Local Farmers

The Rural City of Wangaratta encourages local farmers to take advantage of free skin health checks, thanks to an initiative in partnership with Myrtleford’s TAFCO Rural Supplies.
The Alpine Outreach Van will be visiting Wangaratta Livestock Exchange from 15 - 17 April, providing a convenient opportunity for farmers and community members to prioritise their skin health.

The Rural City of Wangaratta is inviting young people aged 12-25 to lead the way in the new What YOUth Want campaign, running until Sunday 11 May.

The quick and easy 60-second survey is designed by and for young people. This initiative empowers participants to voice their ideas, hopes, and priorities through a Youth Census.
