Moyhu Township Development Plan
A Township Development Plan has been developed for Moyhu and can be downloaded at the bottom of this page.
This plan seeks to provide:
- An integrated vision for land use planning for Moyhu. And;
- Provides opportunities for future township growth.
Status: Council adopted this plan at its meeting on the 25th June, 2024.
Next Step: Council in adopting the plan resolved that a planning scheme amendment should be prepared to implement the recommendations of the plan into the Wangaratta Planning Scheme.
This process will be undertaken in the future and requires Council to seek permission from the Minister for Planning to proceed with an amendment. A period of public exhibition is integrated into the amendment process, including direct notification of all landowners within the town.
