Redcamp Bridge Replacement - Boggy Creek Myrrhee Redcamp Bridge over Boggy Creek will be replaced after a contract was awarded to Waratah Constructions Pty Ltd. The deck of the bridge will be strengthened to increase its capacity to T44. The deck overlay will be removed and new deck slab with additional structural steel beams along with double layer guard rails will be constructed for strengthening purpose.
Wareena Park Oval Upgrade The Rural City of Wangaratta has engaged Gordon Gibson Nominees Pty Ltd for the reconstruction of Wareena Park Oval, Swan Street Wangaratta. The reconstruction works will include improved drainage and a new automatic irrigation system. Works will also include new infrastructure, including perimeter fence, AFL posts, synthetic cricket pitch, coach’s boxes and concrete pads.
Carboor & Whorouly South Road Reconstruction The project involves upgrading the existing intersection and widening the road with asphalt and spray seal. The intersection is situation in the curve of the main road, Carboor-Whorouly South Road. The intersection is being upgraded by implementing a 90degree intersection to improve sightlines and eliminate all road user safety risks.
