Join Council on Monday 1 May 2017 for their annual environment talk and walk, with microbats taking the spotlight this year.
Every year Council runs a series of community events to support the local community in appreciating the local environment.
For this year’s event, Helen Waudby from the Office of Environment and Heritage NSW will present a talk on microbats, followed by a guided walk through the Northern Beaches to explore the natural habitats of possums, gliders, bats and owls that inhabit the reserve.
The event will kick off at the Wangaratta Bowls Club, 20 Park Lane and will run from 5:45pm-7:30pm with a light dinner included for guests.
Guests can RSVP by calling Scott Draper on 5722 0888 by Tuesday 25 April 2017.
